Punching machine for leaf discs    
 
Machine capable of punching discs out of plant leaves that are being used for agrochemical tests.


Procedure:
Selection and insertion of leaves into a carrier by
the operator
Feeding of the carriers into the machine and cooling
of carriers
Feeding, also manual, of empty multiwell culture
plates into the machine
Image analysis of the leaf and calculation of the
right place to extract a disc
Processing of the leaf by a handling system according
to calculated presettings
Output of processed carriers from the machine and
return of the reloaded carriers into the processing cycle
Placing of leaf discs on the multiwell culture plates
and stacking of the latter for manual retrieval
